Ford India Sales Reached 17,742 Vehicles in July 2016

Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and exports in July grew to 17,742 vehicles from 13,116 vehicles in July 2015.

July domestic sales grew to 7,076 vehicles up from 4,362 units, while exports grew to 10,666 vehicles compared to 8,754 units in July 2015.

Our domestic wholesale growth is proof that the actions we are taking to enhance the entire customer experience matter to our customers,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India.

“Our product led-transformation strategy is paying dividends as we continue to meet the diverse needs of customers with the most vibrant, feature rich and value for money product portfolio ever, including the introduction of iconic Ford Mustang.”

Priced at INR 65 Lakh, Ford has commenced taking bookings of the iconic Mustang, for customers in Delhi and Mumbai. The new Ford Mustang is armed with Ford’s renowned 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission delivering 401 PS of power and has become the talk of the town.

The month of July also saw Ford Assured completed five years of providing peace of mind to buy and sell pre-owned cars to customers in India. With over 185 outlets across the country, Ford has assured transparency, quality, choice, and competitive pricing, as well as a company warranty with this venture.

In its ongoing efforts to strengthen the pool of skilled technicians for an enhanced after-sales experience, Ford partnered with Industrial Training Institutes in Lucknow and Bhopal to establish Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centers last month.
