Xbox’s Forza brings open racing world to Mumbai

On Sunday, Xbox India held an exclusive hands-on session of the Forza Horizon 3 game in Mumbai. The event, co-hosted by Lamborghini, also saw members from Throttle 97, one of India’s biggest supercars clubs duking it out on the virtual track with the gamers. Guests including gaming media were invited to try out the game on Xbox One consoles and Asus Republic of Gamers line-up.

Developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios, Forza Horizon 3 is the third Forza Horizon and ninth instalment in the Forza series of racing video games. Based in Australia, Forza Horizon 3 is a open-world racing game which has an incredible selection of over 350 of the world’s greatest car. The game features cross-platform play – meaning that players on Xbox Ones and PCs can race against each other – as it is a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. The cover of the game are the Lamborghini Centenario and the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor truck.

Forza Horizon 3 for PC and Xbox One comes out on September 27 worldwide. Amazon India has preorders open for the Xbox platform with prices set at Rs 3,999
