New Delhi, February 10, 2017: The Board of Directors of Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. (SONA), India’s largest manufacturer and supplier of Steering Systems, in Technical and Financial Collaboration with global No. 1 Steering System manufacturer viz. ‘JTEKT Corporation’, Japan (formerly Koyo Seiko Co. Ltd.), in its meeting held on 10st February, 2017 has taken on record the Financial Results for the Third Quarter ended 31st December, 2016.
Standalone:
For the quarter ended 31st December, 2016, Net Sales has increased by 12.9% to Rs 284.8 Crores as compared to Rs. 252.2 Crores during the same period last year. Profit after Tax increased by 233.1% to Rs. 5.5 Crores against Profit of Rs. 1.6 Crores during the same period last year.
For the Nine months ended 31st December, 2016, Net Sales has increased by 6.5% to Rs 830.7 Crores as compared to Rs. 780.1 Crores during the same period last year. Profit after Tax increased by 70.9% to Rs. 14.7 Crores against Profit of Rs. 8.6 Crores during the same period last year.
Consolidated:
For the quarter ended 31st December, 2016, Net Sales has increased by 10.7% to Rs 389.2 Crores as compared to Rs. 351.5 Crores during the same period last year. Profit after Tax increased by 99.5% to Rs. 8.9 Crores against Profit of Rs. 4.4 Crores during the same period last year.
For the Nine months ended 31st December, 2016, Net Sales increased by 0.9% to Rs 1120.76 Crores as compared to Rs. 1111.1 Crores during the same period last year. Profit after Tax increased by 32.5% to Rs. 20.2 Crores against Profit of Rs. 15.2 Crores during the same period last year.
