CEAT riders won the maximum awards in all the categories
Nidhi Shukla representing CEAT team today won the title of Best Lady Driver at 26th Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally held in Belapur in Navi Mumbai. Other CEAT team members Pinkesh Thakkar and Manjit Singh won the S1: Above 80 upto 110cc – Two Stroke and S2: Above 110 upto 160cc – Two Stroke category respectively. The best Bhopal rider- Muzaafar Ali and the Best Nashik Rider-Amit Belgaonkar were also from CEAT team. This year, the ride witnessed participation from 47 riders from across the country. The 30kms ride started from K-star in Belapur and back was covered with difficult terrains and challenging landscapes.
The Rally was divided in 3 stages. From the start point, the riders made their way to Navi Mumbai region, where a special rally route had been chalked in the hilly terrain, comprising of mud, gravel, stone, peaks, slush ,hard rocky terrain and sand sudden drops. Riders had to complete 3 laps of the stages that were made through the hills before the finishing line.
