Ford India Sales Reached 22,590 Vehicles in September 2016


  • Ford India domestic wholesales reaches 9,018 units in September; Exports at 13,572 vehicles
  • Extends its sales and service network with the inauguration of Unique Ford showroom and service facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra
  • Celebrates the spirit of volunteerism with Global Caring Month in September; Volunteers from 14,000 strong work-force participating in over 45 CSR projects

Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and exports stood at 22,590 vehicles in September in comparison to 22,428 vehicles in September 2015.

September domestic wholesales grew to 9,018 vehicles against 8,274 vehicles in the same month last year, while exports stood at 13,572 vehicles compared to 14,154 units in September 2015.

““Good monsoons, the Seventh Pay Commission and reasonable inflation are helping drive the Indian automotive industry. Committed to elevating ownership experience, Ford India extended its sales and service network with the inauguration of new Unique Ford showroom and service facility in Kolhapur in September. Spread across 48,000 square feet and 15 service bays, the facility showcases Ford’s most vibrant, feature rich and value for money product portfolio including EcoSport, Aspire, New Figo and Endeavour.

The month of September also witnessed the Ford volunteers across Chennai, Sanand, Gurgaon, and Coimbatore contribute towards a variety of community-led activities as part of the Global Caring Month.
