Magic Sewa, the recently launched taxi startup, today joined hands with Uday Foundation, the Delhi based NGO of high repute, to offer free pick & drop services to children suffering from cancer to any hospital in Delhi during the odd-even period.
Commenting on the association, Rakesh Agarwal, CEO of Magic Sewa, said, “This association is in line with our company’s philanthropic activities to serve the society. We are extremely overwhelmed to join hands with Uday Foundation to offer our services for such a thoughtful cause.” As Delhi gets geared to reduce the number of private cars on its roads to control pollution, Magic Sewa, has also announced to reduce its fare during the ongoing ‘odd-even’ days. While taxi companies and cab aggregators on the other hand are working ways to increase fares exponentially on these high demand days, Magic Sewa aims at bringing down its rates considerably from Rs. 10/ km to Rs. 6/ km. to offer premium services to its customers at affordable rates.
These 100% CNG, all-sedan fleet of city taxis in Delhi have started service since early December and have so far received a great response for its one-of-its-kind offerings. The current fleet entirely comprises of brand new sedan vehicles, driven by regularly trained captains who undergo three layer verification. All Magic Sewa vehicles have a live meter displaying accurate prices by the second on large screen tabs. The company assures total peace of mind with no peak time charges (no surge pricing). Security for women has been the prime agenda for the company. All drivers have undergone thorough multiple verification by a special team and are also groomed with proper etiquettes to interact with passengers. Each car has an in-built panic button along with hooter that acts as an alert. Also, the back-end team assures the monitoring of night rides for women for better security.
