Sets stage for yet another ‘Power’ packed year of exciting contests and on-ground engagement activities for biking enthusiasts

Delhi, February 15, 2016: Shell Lubricants, the global market share leader in finished lubricants, announced its alliance with India’s largest biking festival – The India Bike Week 2016, with ‘Shell Advance’ as the exclusive ‘Official Gold Sponsor. The two day biking festival being organized in Goa on February 19 & 20 2016, is a one of its kind platform attracting thousands of biking enthusiasts from India and abroad. Marking the second consecutive year of its association with the festival, the brand aims at engaging with biking aficionados from across the globe and celebrate the pleasure and thrill of biking.

Packed with a ‘Power’ themed outlook for this year’s edition, the brand plans to unveil a new product offering at the festival that promises to address the power management need for its consumers’ bikes. Themed around “RevItUpWithShellAdvance”, the brand has planned several on-ground and online engagements for its consumers. A series of ongoing online Shell contests hosted on IBW FB page shall give consumers a chance to win tickets to IBW 2016 and free Advance Ultra oil supplies for a year. At the event, bikers can expect to have their biking power and torque measured at the Shell Power Zone through the much sought after Dynamometer. Acknowledging the contribution of mechanics to biking in the country, Shell advance has also associated with the festival to be a part of the ‘IBW Mechanic Honour Roll’- a nationwide campaign to recognize talented mechanics. There shall also be exciting power measuring games, product trial offers and fun photo booth zones.
