Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India today launched the Punto Pure at the 2016 Auto Expo – The Motor Show. This car is based on the much loved Grande Punto which had enjoyed a phenomenal success during its launch. The Punto Pure will be the entry vehicle in the B segment with an attractive price point. This affordable hatchback is poised to be the star in this segment providing strong build quality and a low cost of ownership.
The Punto Pure will be available in two variants; a 1.3L Advanced Multi-jet Diesel engine producing a max power of 76 PS@4000rpm and 197 Nm@ 1750 rpm of torque and a 1.2 L FIRE Petrol engine producing 68 PS @ 6000 rpm of power and generating 96 Nm@ 2500 rpm of torque.

Engine and Fun Driveability
The Punto Pure will be a 5-door hatchback powered with two engine options; a 1.3 L Advanced Multi-Jet Diesel engine producing 76 PS of max power and a 1.2 L FIRE petrol engine producing 68 PS of max power; making the car peppy and fun to drive. While the engine promises impressive fuel economy figures, the healthy torque is mated through a slick five speed manual transmission.
Punto Pure will stay true to its DNA as a driver focused car and a fun to drive hatchback with genuine Italian flair. The handling of the car is also down to its chassis which has been perfected over the years by Fiat engineers. Further enhancing the cars driveability is a well-tuned suspension ready to take on bumpy roads while not sacrificing on comfort and fun.
Comfortable and Practical Cabin
The interior of the Punto Pure is inspired from its predecessor. The large dimensions results in it being a car with a spacious cabin making it comfortable for five people. The car also consists of a large boot offering ample space for your weekend getaways.
The car’s instrumentations include Digital Clock, Digital Odometer, Digital Trip meter, Distance to Empty Indicator, to name a few. The Punto Pure will be loaded with features and will provide an amazing value for money offering.
Original Italian Design and Dynamics
Distinctive Italian design makes the Punto Pure standout and take notice. The class leading dimension (L x W x H) mm: 3987 x 1687 x 1495 of the car gives it an impressive presence on the road. Punto Pure comes standard with 14” steel wheels and black coloured ORVMs and door handles. The bumpers are body coloured and there are rear fog lamps present.
